London: BlackBerry makers Research in Motion has reportedly cancelled two of the three planned handsets that it was to introduce this year, and is now developing just one model, the ‘London’ showcasing its new BlackBerry 10 operating system.

The embattled Canadian firm was earlier working on handsets codenamed ‘Colt’, ‘Milan’ and ‘London’, but it is now focusing all its energies on one device, according to BGR.com.

It is currently being shown to networks, and BlackBerry has already confirmed to journalists that demonstration of BlackBerry 10 will take place at the Mobile World Congress trade show in Barcelona next month, The Telegraph reports.

BlackBerry is also set to demonstrate the updated version of the BlackBerry Playbook software at the Consumer electronics Show in Las Vegas next week, but it has yet to publicly announce a launch date for integrated email into the tablet device.

According to the report, RIM has been working with Porsche Design on a handset that is currently on sale at Harrods in London, and some leaked images suggested that the 1,275 pounds P’9981 could inspire the new handset’s design.
