As per several reports in the media, Nancy Pelosi, the Minority leader of the US House of Representatives has actually said that.
Steve Jobs “didn’t invent the iPhone, but he did a “good job designing” it, Pelosi said during a during the Democratic National Convention Platform Hearing.
Pelosi said the technology for the smartphone comprising the GPS, digital camera came from federal research while Apple just put it together to make iPhone.
