New Delhi: Facebook on Thursday sent out an update for Facebook Messenger for Android device users which lets one make group calls with up to 50 people at a time.

The new Facebook Messenger app for Android devices is of version 68.0.0.6.67 and comes with build number 28218277.

The Facebook Messenger APK download file weighs 34.51 MB.

However, it appears that this facility of group calls up to 50 people is available with on Android smartphones and tablets running on Android 5.0 or later.

Earlier, according to reports, the social networking site said there was no limit as to the number of people in the group call.

However, this was later changed to 12 and then finally to 50 people in one group call, the reports said.

And while users are all excited about the group calls, users must also be aware that the Facebook Messenger update is Beta version and is not available on Google Play Store. Rather users will have to download and Facebook Messenger APK directly.
