J&K floods: Aircel offers network for all mobile operators

With most of the phone networks, including the state-owned Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) down in Jammu and Kashmir due to the flood, Aircel is offering a network connection to all mobile operators in the valley.

New Delhi: With most of the phone networks, including the state-owned Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) down in Jammu and Kashmir due to the flood, Aircel is offering a network connection to all mobile operators in the valley.

As per sources, anyone with a working mobile than Aircel can go to the settings and choose Aircel from amongst the networks and get connected.

The process is as follows: Settings>Network>Manual Search>(select)Aircel.

Whether the mobile SIM connection is Vodafone, Airtel or BSNL, it will be connected via Aircel and it can be use immediately.

Moreover, Aircel has offered free calls to all its postpaid and prepaid customers in Jammu and Kashmir.

Meanwhile, BSNL said it has sent experts including technicians and engineers to prepare its network in the valley.
