New Delhi: Did you know that Google Chrome secretly listens to conversations from every computer that runs Chrome, and transmits audio data back to Google?
Google claims that these recording help the company improve its language recognition tools and search results.
Not to worry, because there is a method to stop that unauthorized eavesdropping by Google, and that is by simply clearing your history, and avoiding voice search.
To manage your voice searches, visit the Activity controls page. You may be asked to sign in to your Google Account. Turn the switch off. When Voice & Audio Activity is off, voice searches will be stored using anonymous identifiers. This information won't be saved to your Google Account even if you're signed in.
