New Delhi: After Mumbai, it's the turn of Delhi taxi and auto unions to call a strike against app-based taxi service providers. The union leaders claim that they are planning to go on strike March 14 and 15 if government doesn't agree to their demands. They are also planning to engage unions from other states.

Talking to reporters, President of Delhi Taxi Union Rajendra Soni said that when the app-based taxi service providers have given a serious jolt to their business, the present government is planning to give license to more players in the segment.

He also accused that while rules pertaining to driving license and fitness tests are very stringent against them, these app-based service providers are mildly dealt.

He added that rules should be same for all and he will soon write a letter in this regard to both the State and Central governments.
