New Delhi: Traders body CAIT Sunday said it has in association with MasterCard has launched a nationwide campaign to promote use of digital payments in trading fraternity and help traders modernise their business operations.

"In the wake of serious efforts of the government for incentivising use of debit-credit Cards in India which will have greater ramifications on trading community...CAIT in association with MasterCard has launched a nationwide campaign 'Train the Traders'," the Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) said in a statement.

The campaign is in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 'Digital India' vision and subsequent announcement made by Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley in Union Budget for incentivising use of Debit-Credit Card in the country, it said.
