Apple's CEO Tim Cook has been sued by a customer over unwanted downloads of iOS 7 software on his family's gadgets.

Washington: Apple's CEO Tim Cook has been sued by a customer over unwanted downloads of iOS 7 software on his family's gadgets.

Mark Menacher has filed a small claims complaint against Cook in the Superior Court of California in San Diego, asking for the removal of the iOS 7 installation file from his mobile, Sky News reports.

Menacher said the file automatically downloads itself to devices, when connected to power and a Wifi connection, and describes it as corporate thuggery.

The complaint was to get rid of the downloaded file and 50 dollars compensation for neglecting customer preferences.
