Apple Inc sued over storage capacity

According to various media reports, the company doesn't inform the users on how much storage the new upgraded OS will eat up.

New Delhi: A lawsuit has been filed against tech giant Apple Inc that alleges the company for not telling the users about the amount of memory required by its operating system iOS8.

The lawsuit filed this week alleges that the inbuilt storage of iPhone models following an upgrade to iOS is misrepresenting. According to various media reports, the company doesn't inform the users on how much storage the new upgraded OS will eat up.

The complaint revolves around iOS 8 and the amount of memory it reserves for itself on iPods, iPhones and iPads. Apple has yet to issue any official comment on the lawsuit.
