London: European stock markets closed higher on Thursday, with Frankfurt`s main DAX index ending the day up 0.42 percent to 9,794.06 points.
London`s benchmark FTSE 100 index rose 0.34 percent to 6,821.46 points, while in Paris the CAC 40 ended trading up 0.78 percent at 4,410.65.
