London: European stock markets climbed at the start of trading on 13th May, with London`s benchmark FTSE 100 index up 0.29 percent at 6,953.85 points.
Elsewhere in initial trade, Frankfurt`s DAX 30 added 0.53 percent to 11,532.97 points, and the CAC 40 in Paris won 0.43 percent to 4,996.19 compared with Tuesday`s close.
