Mumbai: The Wholesale Debt Market segment of the National Stock Exchange today witnessed a total turnover of Rs 5,088.40 crore in 63 trades.

The 364-days Treasury bills (issue no.101215), traded at Rs.980.00 crore at weighted yield of 7.82 percent, the 364-days Treasury bills (issue no.291015), traded at Rs.755.00 crore at weighted yield of 7.83 per cand and 364-days Treasury bills (issue no.050416), traded at Rs.500.00 crore at weighted yield of 7.89 percent.
During the week ended today, the total turnover was Rs 23,671.39 crore and the total number of trades during the week was at 478.
The highest volume amount of trade during the week was at Rs 5,214.00 crore as on Apr 6, while the lowest volume amount Rs 3,846.50 crore as on Apr 7.
This week, the weighted yield on government securities with a maturity period of 0-3 years, 3-7 years, 7-10 years and more than 10 years was quoted at 7.87 percent, 7.77 percent, 7.79 percent and 7.81 percent, respectively.
The weighted yields on treasury bills maturing within 90 days was 7.73 percent, it was 7.84 percent for bills of 91-182 days tenure, and 7.84 percent for bills of 183-365 days' tenure.
During the week, the cumulative value of government securities, treasury bills and state government securities trading on the WDM was Rs 19,058.19 crore, trading in Non Government securities was at Rs 4,613.20 crore, representing 80.51 percent and 19.49 percent of the total traded value, respectively, the NSE release said.
