WDM witnesses trade worth Rs 1,277.40 crore on NSE

During the week ended today, the total turnover was Rs 11,330 crore and the total number of trades during the week was at 269.


Mumbai: The Wholesale Debt Market segment of the National Stock Exchange on Friday, witnessed a total turnover of Rs 1,277.40 crore in 36 trades.

The 7.88 percent government securities maturing in CG2030 traded value at Rs.200.00 crore at weighted yield the 7.89 percent, the 8.60 percent

Government securities maturing in CG2028 traded value at Rs.175.00 crore at weighted yield the 7.97 percent and the 8.17 percent government securities maturing in CG2044 traded value at Rs.115.00 crore at weighted yield the 8.05 percent.

During the week ended today, the total turnover was Rs 11,330 crore and the total number of trades during the week was at 269.

The highest volume amount of trade during the week was at Rs 3,905.20 crore as on May 13, while the lowest volume amount Rs 1,269.00 crore as on May 14.

This week, the weighted yield on government securities with a maturity period of 0-3 years, 3-7 years, 7-10 years and more than 10 years was quoted at 7.93 percent, 8.00 percent, 7.96 percent and 8.01 percent, respectively.

The weighted yields on treasury bills maturing within 90 days was 7.92 percent, it was 7.92 percent for bills of 91-182 days tenure, and 7.91 percent for bills of 183-365 days' tenure.

During the week, the cumulative value of government securities, treasury bills and state government securities trading on the WDM was Rs 8,834.00 crore, trading in Non Government securities was at Rs 2,496.00 crore, representing 77.97 percent and 22.03 percent of the total traded value, respectively, the NSE release said.
