Rupee opens flat at 60.29 vs US dollar

New Delhi: Indian rupee on Monday opened flat at 60.29 per dollar vs Friday's close of 60.28 per dollar.

Traders expect the rupee to trade between 60.20-60.45 vs the US dollar. News from Ukraine and Middle East will also be a deciding factor for the currency rate.

Experts and traders also expect some dollar demand from importers during the session.

Meanwhile, the benchmark Sensex in its opening session on Monday was trading at 25,814.71 points, up 170 points up .
