Rupee opens at 60.05 per dollar in early morning trade

The Indian Rupee on Thursday opened at 60.05 per dollar, as compared with Wednesday's closing of 60.09 versus the US dollar.

New Delhi: The Indian Rupee on Thursday opened at 60.05 per dollar, as compared with Wednesday's closing of 60.09 versus the US dollar.

According to experts, rupee is expected to trade in the range of 60-60.25 per dollar today in the absence of any new triggers in the market.

On Wednesday, the rupee strengthened to its strongest level in a week and half on Wednesday as continued foreign fund inflows into the domestic share and debt markets aided while gains in other Asian units also helped.
Meanwhile, the euro touched multi-month lows against the dollar and yen on Wednesday.
