New Delhi: Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Monday said that the government will move Goods and Services Tax (GST) Constitutional Amendment Bill in Lok Sabha in next few weeks.

The Goods and Services Tax, proposed to be rolled out from April 2016, was last introduced in the Lok Sabha in 2011 by the then UPA government but lapsed, requiring the new NDA government to come with a new Bill.

Government will provide reasonable compliance window under the new black money law, Jaitley further added.

Speaking at the CII Annual Session in New Delhi, the Finance Minister added that government will appoint a group to oversee working of new Companies Act to find out where the shoe pinches.
