The international crude oil price of Indian Basket, computed by Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, fell to USD 99.69 per barrel on Wednesday.
This was lower than the price of USD 100.45 per barrel on the previous publishing day.
In rupee terms, the price of Indian Basket decreased to Rs 6035.23 per barrel on Wednesday as compared to Rs 6088.27 per barrel on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, Oil dipped today as dealers squared positions before the European Central Bank`s interest rate decision and the latest snapshot of US crude inventories, analysts said.
Brent North Sea crude for October dropped 14 cents to USD 102.63 per barrel in late morning London deals.
US benchmark West Texas Intermediate (WTI) for October delivery slid 28 cents to USD 95.26 a barrel.
