The annual rate of inflation, based on monthly Wholesale Price Index (WPI), dipped to (-)2.06 percent for the month of February compared to (-)0.39 percent in January.
The WPI inflation stood at 5.03 percent during the corresponding month of the previous year.
Build up inflation rate in the financial year so far was (-)2.50 percent compared to a build up rate of 5.53 percent in the corresponding period of the previous year.
The food inflation declined by 0.26 percent to 7.74 percent in February due to lower price of egg, fruits and vegetables.
