New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has nominated Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley and Power Minister Piyush Goyal to attend the World Economic Forum meeting to be held in Switzerland.
The 45th annual meeting of the World Economic Forum will take place from January 21-24 in Davos, Switzerland.
The meeting will be attended by over 2,500 political, business and social leaders who will discuss critical issues facing the world.
According to WEF, this year's theme 'The New Global Context', aims to “reflect the period of profound political, economic, social and technological change that the world has entered, which has the potential to end the era of economic integration and international partnership that began in 1989”.
The four key issues on the agenda for Davos 2015 are - Crisis and cooperation, growth and stability, innovation and industry, and society and security.
