GDP growth remains sub 5% for 3rd straight year; FY14 at 4.7%

New Delhi: Indian economy clocked 4.7 percent growth in FY14, government data showed on Friday.

This is the third consecutive year for which India has recorded sub 5 percent GDP growth.

As per government data, for the quarter ended March 31, GDP growth remained at 4.6 percent. Government has also revised Q3 GDP growth to 4.6 percent from 4.7 percent provisional while the Q1 GDP has been revised to 4.7 from 4.4 percent provisional.
