New Delhi: Supreme Court on Tuesday appointed senior advocate Anand Grover as in-charge of prosecution for CBI in 2G scam cases.

The apex court has also allowed petitioner to file details of entry register of CBI Director's residence after it was submitted that it contains "explosive" information.

SC will take up the issue raised on entry register of CBI director's residence on Thursday.

Grover would be taking the place of senior advocate U U Lalit who has been elevated as a judge of the Supreme Court.

The apex court had on August 12 asked Venugopal to suggest three names of eminent advocates for appointment as SPP.
