SC notice to Ranbaxy over adulterated drugs

The Supreme Court on Saturday issued notice to Centre and Ranbaxy on a PIL seeking probe against the company for allegedly supplying adulterated drugs in the country.

New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Saturday issued notice to Centre and Ranbaxy on a PIL seeking probe against the company for allegedly supplying adulterated drugs in the country.

The apex court, however, refused to pass interim order to restrain Ranbaxy from manufacturing drugs.

Reacting to this, the firm's shares fell by 4.09 percent to Rs 340.45 apiece on the BSE.
