New Delhi: Ratan Tata has invested in Bengaluru-based online start-up,Yourstory.com for an undisclosed amount after investing in several other online start-ups such as Ola, UrbanLadder, Snapdeal and many more.
Shradha Sharma, founder and chief editor of YourStory.com, posted the news on her website. Sharma said the company is launching a tech product that will help people to write, talk and view their own stories in native Indian languages.
The company announced its Series A funding led by Kalaari Capital, with participation from Qualcomm Ventures, T V Mohandas Pai and Ratan Tata.
YourStory provides storytelling platform for entrepreneurs, innovators and change makers since 2008. It has about 50 employees of which 18 are in editorial, according to an employee who did not want to be named.
