Chennai: Parry Travels, the travel services division of diversified business conglomerate Murugappa Group, has launched its service in the online space, making it as the first services agency to be approved by the International Air Transport Association (IATA).
The online portal www.Parryyatra.Com was formally launched by Parry Enterprises, Director, Arun Murugappan and Murugappa Group, Vice Chairman, and Parry Enterprises India, Chairman, M M Murugappan issued the first ticket, the Chennai-based company said in a statement here on Friday.
"For over six decades now, Parry Travels has been engaged in offering a range of travel services, from airline ticketing, passport and visa services.With the promise of ease of usage and best deals, the new portal will add further convenience", Arun Murugappan said.
Besides offering travel services, Parry Enterprises is engaged in the manufacture of polymer meshes and packaged drinking water. It is also a leading player in the distribution of food ingredients, the statement said.
