L&T Construction bags orders worth Rs 2,101 crore

New Delhi: Larsen & Toubro (L&T) on Tuesday said it has bagged orders worth Rs 2,101 crore across various segments in March.

"The construction arm of L&T has won orders worth Rs 2,101 crore," the company said in a filing to the BSE.

In the heavy civil infrastructure segment, the company has received a major contract from Public Works Department, Delhi, for construction of Phase-III of Barapullah Elevated Corridor in Delhi, it said, adding that the project is expected to be completed in 30 months.

In the water and renewable energy segment, the company has secured order from Uttar Pradesh Jal Nigam for construction of 242-km waste water network and waste water pumping stations in Allahabad.
"Additional orders worth Rs 170 crore have also been received for various ongoing jobs of buildings and factories business," the filing added.
