Karur Vysysa Bank Q2 Net rises 9.18% to Rs 90.50 crore

Private-sector Karur Vysya Bank today reported 9.18 percent increase in its net profit to Rs 90.50 crore for the second quarter ending September.

Chennai: Private-sector Karur Vysya Bank today reported 9.18 percent increase in its net profit to Rs 90.50 crore for the second quarter ending September.

The Tamil Nadu-based bank had reported net profit of Rs 82.89 crore in the year-ago period, Karur Vysya Bank said in a BSE filing.

For the half-year period ending September 30, the net profit of the bank grew 4.61 percent to Rs 212.57 crore from Rs 203.19 crore registered during the corresponding period of previous year.

Total income from operations for the July-September 2014 period soared to Rs 1,494.86 crore from Rs 1,378.89 crore registered during the same period of previous year.

The total income for the half-year period ending September stood at Rs 2,957.30 crore as against Rs 2,808.35 crore registered during the same period of previous year.
