New Delhi: A special court on Wednesday sought the case diary relating to a coal blocks allocation scam case in which CBI has chargesheeted Nagpur-based Grace Industries Ltd and one of its directors as accused saying that there were "many issues" which required to be gone into.
"There are many issues which need to be gone into. Give me the case diary," Special CBI Judge Bharat Parashar told the investigating officer (IO).
Responding to the court's observation, Special Public Prosecutor R S Cheema said they would examine all the aspects of the case.
"Certain further clarifications have been sought. Put up for consideration on January 19," the court said.
The court is considering the charge sheet filed by CBI.
CBI had earlier filed relevant documents in the case in which it had chargesheeted Grace Industries Ltd and one of its directors Mukesh Gupta as accused for the offence under Section 420 (cheating) of IPC.
In its FIR lodged in the case, CBI had alleged Grace Industries Ltd had bagged the Lohara East coal block in Maharashtra in 2008 by misrepresenting their net worth.
It, however, had not chargesheeted one of its other directors, Seema Gupta who was named as an accused in the FIR.
