New Delhi: A Special court on Friday directed the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to further investigate a coal scam case involving allocation of coal block to AMR Iron & Steel Pvt.
The court said that ex-Minister of State for Coal, Santosh Bagrodia and ex-Coal Secretary H C Gupta prima facie committed offence of criminal misconduct.
The court added that Bagrodia and Gupta prima facie facilitated accused firm AMR Iron & Steel Pvt to obtain Bander coal block "unlawfully"
Court has also directed CBI to file progress report of its further investigation in the case on February 13.
