New Delhi: The Inter Ministerial Group (IMG) will take final decision on three coal blocks, sources told Zee Media.
As per sources, Gare Palma 1V/1, 1V/2, 1V/3 and Marki Mangli block have been accused of cartelisation during the bidding process of coal auction.
There have been reports on re-auction of these blocks so as to take out their true value though there is no confirmation on re-auctioning.
Sources earlier said that the government has received a report on re-examination of Gare-Palma-IV/2, Gare-Palma-IV/3, Gare-Palma-IV/1, all in Chhattisgarh and Marki Mangli-III in Maharashtra auctioned during the first phase.
Meanwhile, a nominated committee is expected to send its report to the IMG on auctioning of these coal blocks.
The government had recently auctioned 19 coal blocks in the first tranche and 14 out of 15 in the second tranche, garnering a huge over Rs 2 lakh crore revenue.
