XOLO releases Android KitKat update for its devices

XOLO, the home-grown smartphone maker, has released the beta version of the Android 4.4 (KitKat) update for its flagship device Q3000.

New Delhi: XOLO, the home-grown smartphone maker, has released the beta version of the Android 4.4 (KitKat) update for its flagship device Q3000.

Earlier, back in July the company hadrolled out beta version of KitKat update for Q700S while the final version was made available over-the-air (OTA) for the users once post integrating users’ feedback.

The Android KitKat update reinforces XOLO’s commitment to offering its users best and latest technology upgrade and seamless Android experience. XOLO has been proactive in releasing Android updates across devices in all price range. Thanks to the dedicated engineering team who has been continuously working with the chipset manufacturers to ensure users gets the best software support.

In the past, updates for XOLO Q1010i, Q1010, Q700s and Q1000 Opus have already been released via OTA and is also available on XOLO official website for users to download.

The company plans to bring more updates for more devices including Q1200, Q900s, A500 Club, A600 and A550.

The Android 4.4 update will bring a slew of new features in addition to a few performance upgrades as well. The new update will provide access to all key features including performance and UI optimization, making the UI more intuitive and customizable, enhanced camera image quality and enhanced security.

The update is rolling-out over-the-air (OTA), or can be manually downloaded from the official XOLO support site. http://www.xolo.in/xolocare/software-update. XOLO Users can download the OTA files on to their PC and transfer the same to their phone to install it. Else, users can also directly download the same on to their phone and after unzipping the same, install it to enjoy the KitKat version on their device.
