Smart Namo, an Android phone dedicated to Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi is soon going to hit the Indian market.

New Delhi: Smart Namo, an Android phone dedicated to Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi is soon going to hit the Indian market.

The smartphone dedicated to the CM is being made by a group of ardent fans. The phone website says, “We are from land of Gujarat & in electronic smartphone business in China. NAMO stands for Narendra Modi and Next Generation Android Mobile Odyssey.”

According to the information given in the website, the smartphone will be powered by a MediaTek MT6589 SoC that includes a 1.5GHz quad-core processor, Gorilla Glass 2 protection and a 13 megapixel camera.

The phone will sport a 5 inch display and will be available in four variants with 1GB or 2GB RAM and 16GB or 32GB of internal memory.

Lucky few may also grab their ‘signature edition’ phone signed by Modi himself.

Expected price of Smart Namo is Rs 16,000 and will have videos and apps related to Modi. The phone is expected to be out in the market by end of August, report said.
