ZTE Blade Qlux 4G launched at Rs 4,999, cheapest 4G Phone in India

New Delhi: India's budgeted smart-phone market has a new entrant called the ZTE Blade Qlux 4G. The phone, launched at Rs 4,999 is the cheapest and most pocket-friendly smart-phone supporting 4G services.

At the outset the smartphone will be exclusively available at the e-commerce giant Amazon, starting Tuesday.

Most importantly, ZTE Blade Qlux 4G, supports both 1800MHz (Band 3) and 2300MHz (Band 40) 4G bands in India, and data speeds of up to 150Mbps on LTE Cat. 4 networks.

The price of the ZTE Blade Qlux 4G seems exceedingly competitive as it suprasses the Xiaomi's Red Mi2 and Yu Yuphoria priced at Rs 6,999 . It also leaves the Yu Yureka way behind which was launched at Rs 8,999 which when launched seemed a promising smartphone.

The Blade Qlux 4G sports a 4.5-inch display and runs on a 1.3GHz quad-core Mediatek processor with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal memory expandable up to 32GB.

The dual SIM Blade Qlux 4G smartphone offers an 8MP rear camera with LED Flash and a 5MP front camera. It runs on Android KitKat 4.4.2 operating system and offers regular connectivity options and is powered by a 2,200 mAh battery.
