Yu Yuphoria's 1 lakh phones up for grabs on Amazon, no pre-registration required

New Delhi: One lakh units of Micromax-owned sub-brand Yu Yuphoria smartphones will be up for sale on online retailer Amazon starting Tuesday.

The three-day sale does not require any per-registration because it is an open sale. The Yuphoria retails at Rs 6,999.

Micromax, in May, unveiled its new smartphone Yuphoria along with other services, especially in the personal health wellness category, intended to bring meaningful technology experiences for its consumers.

The Yu Yuphoria brings a fresh new UI with its partnership with Cyanogen Inc. The Yuphoria is running the Android 5.0 based ROM of Cyanogen OS.

Yu Yuphoria comes with 5-inch 720p display, 8.2mm in thickness, 143 grams weight, 2GB RAM, 16GB storage which is expandable up to 32GB, 8MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, 1.2 GHz quad core Snapdragon 410 processor, 2,230 mAh battery and 4G LTE with dual SIM support.
