Xolo Win Q900s Windows 8.1 available at pre-order of Rs 9,999

The Win Q900s weighs just 100 grams, which the company boasts is the lightest Windows phone available in the market.

New Delhi: Xolo has made an entry into the Windows phone segment by launching its maiden Windows 8.1 smartphone --Win Q900s in the Indian market.

The smartphone is priced at Rs 11,999. The company has stated that the new handset will be available in limited stocks at the e-commerce website Snapdeal at pre-order price of Rs 9,999.

The Win Q900s weighs just 100 grams, which the company boasts is the lightest Windows phone available in the market. It is a dual-SIM handset. Xolo is one company which is working closely with Microsoft to bring more affordable Windows-based handsets in the Indian market.

It offers a a 4.7-inch IPS display with 720p (HD) resolution with Dragon Trail Glass. The Xolo Win Q900s is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 (MSM 8212) alongside 1GB of RAM and Adreno 302 GPU.

It has a 8MP camera with LED flash and autofocus. The camera is capable of clicking high resolution images and recording 720p (HD) videos. In its front rests a 2MP camera for self portraits or video calls.

Xolo Win Q900s has packed a 1800 mAh capacity battery which can deliver upto 14 hours of talktime. The smartphone includes 8GB of inbuilt storage which is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. The handset is available in white and black colour only. It also comes with GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and Micro-USB connectivity options.
