Xiaomi Redmi Note sold out in 6 seconds on 1st round flash sale

Xiaomi Redmi Note is the mid range smartphone which was launched on Nov 24 for Rs 8,999.

New Delhi: Chinese handset maker Xiaomi has certainly taken the market by storm! Xiaomi's Redmi Note seems to be garnering same attraction as its hot-selling budget smartphone 'Redmi 1S'.

Xiaomi, that put up 50,000 units of its Redmi Note on online retailer Flipkart was sold within six seconds for the first flash sale.

The flashsale began at 2pm on December 2.

Xiaomi Redmi Note is the mid range smartphone which was launched on Nov 24 for Rs 8,999.

It offers a 5.5-inch IPS display, is powered by MediaTek MT6592. It comes powered by 1.7 GHz octa core processor. There is 8GB of internal storage which can be expanded upto 32GB via a micro SD card.

Redmi Note sports a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. The connectivity featuresinclude 2G, 3G, GPS, Bluetooth and micro USB. The smartphone has 3100 mAh battery and runs on Android Jelly Bean operating system.
