Xiaomi Redmi Note flash sale on Dec 2; registration begins

To be sold exclusively on e-commerce site Flipkart, the 3G variant of the Redmi Note was launched on Monday and has been competitively priced at Rs 8,999 only.

New Delhi: After having sold an estimated 800,000 units of its Redmi 1S and Mi3 smartphones in India, Chinese phone maker Xiaomi is putting up its freshly launched Redmi Note for flash sale to be held on December 2.

To be sold exclusively on e-commerce site Flipkart, the 3G variant of the Redmi Note was launched on Monday and has been competitively priced at Rs 8,999 only.

The flash sale of the Redmi Note on December 2 will begin at 02:00 p.m. for which the registration has begun today (November 25) from 06:00 p.m. and will be open till midnight of December 1.

However, there has been no information about the quantity of Redmi Note that will be put up for flash.

Xiaomi is following its 'traditional' flash sale in India as it had done with its Redmi 1S and Mi3 that were hugely successful.

As per reports, Xiaomi has sold an estimated 800,000 units of Redmi 1S and Mi3 during its flash sales and is hoping to repeat the same succes with the Redmi Note.

The Redmi Note features a 5.5-inch screen, 1.7 GHz octa- core MediaTek processor, 2GB RAM, 8GB internal flash memory (expandable up to 32GB), 13MP rear camera and 5MP front camera and 3,100 mAh lithium-polymer battery.
