New Delhi: Buying Xiaomi Redmi 2 on Flipkart will now be easier as it is available on the eCommerce site without any registration.
Earlier, to purchase the Redmi phones, one had to registered on Flipkart and then log in on Tuesdays for the flash sale. The process left many fans of the phone heartbroken when they failed to lay a hand on it.
However, with this open sale, where there is no need for prior registration, buying the much popular Xiaomi Redmi 2 will be much easier.
Interestingly, it was Lenovo who did away with registrations and flash sale for its a6000 smartphone. And according to reports, the sales of Lenovo a6000 overtook that of Redmi 2 following this decision.
Moreover, the sale of Mi devices were so far restricted to Flipkart along but starting Wednesday, 8 April, all their products will be available with Snapdeal and Amazon India too.
Perhaps, this is a move to improve their sales in the country. Moreover, the Redmi Note 4G is also available in Airtel Stores and The Mobile Store.
