Xiaomi puts up 1,00,000 Redmi 1S for Oct 14 sale on Flipkart

Following the mega success, Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi is putting up 1,00,000 units of Redmi 1S for sale on Flipkart, the highest number of phones the company has put up for sales so far.

New Delhi: Following the mega success, Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi is putting up 1,00,000 units of Redmi 1S for sale on Flipkart, the highest number of phones the company has put up for sales so far.

With registrations opened, the promotion on Flipkart claims over 2,00,000 have registered for same while it says upto 1,00,000 phones available for sale.

Registration closes midnight of October 13 and the flash sale will be held on October 14 at 2:00 p.m.

During its previous flash sale on September 30, the company claimed it sold off 60,000 units of Redmi 1S in just 13.9 seconds.

So far, as per the calculation, Xiaomi has sold 2,40,000 units of Redmi 1S in just 32 seconds.

During its first three flash sales, Xiaomi has put up 4,000 units each of Redmi 1S which saw the phones disappeared in 4.2 seconds (first sale), 4.5 seconds in the second sale and in 3.4 seconds in the third flash sale.

On September 23, the company put increased the number to 60,000 which vanished in 5.2 seconds. And the latest was on September 30 when the same number of phones were sold off in just 13.9 seconds.

Following this huge success, Xiaomi is putting up 1,00,000 units of Redmi 1S for October 14 sale.

With a tempting price of Rs 5,999 for features that includes 4.7 inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 with 312 ppi, a 1.6 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor with Cortex-A7 core and Adreno 305 image processor, there is no denying it is one the best smartphones around.

Redmi 1S also features an 8GB flash memory, an 8MP primary camera and a 1.6MP front camera.
