New Delhi: Chinese handset maker Xiaomi has slashed the price of its flagship Mi 4 smartphones in India. The price of the Mi 4 for both the versions has been slashed by Rs 2,000.
The 16GB Mi 4 will come at Rs 17,999 while that of the 64GB version will now cost Rs 21,999.
The Xiaomi Mi4 smartphone is a 5-inch screen display that comes with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels at 441 ppi along with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It runs on a 2.5 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 CPU with 3GB RAM.
It comes with 13-MP Sony high-speed back camera and an 8-MP front-facing camera. It also packs a 3080mAh Li-ion battery.
India is one of the largest markets for Xiaomi outside of China. Its cumulative sales is believed to have crossed a million units since the first launch in July last year.
