New Delhi: Chinese phone maker Xiaomi, which forayed into Indian market last month has created so much craze that the phone has been selling within seconds during every phase of sale.

The phone was sold on Flipkart in 2.3 seconds this week during its 5th round of flash sale. This time 20,000 units of the Mi3 smartphone were up for grabs on Flipkart.

The company had received 75,000 registrations from the customers.

So far, the company has already sold 55,000 units in the previous four sales and it has been receiving overwhelming response in each round.

The first batch went out of stock within 40 minutes, the second batch was sold in five seconds. Its third batch sold out at a record less than two seconds and the fourth batch went off the rack in mere 2.4 seconds.

Performance

The speed at which users can have gaming experience and apps at blazing speeds can be estimated by the processor of the phone. The Mi 3 is powered by a powerful Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, Adreno 330 GPU and 2GB LPDDR3 RAM.

Display

The Mi 3 has a 5-inch Full HD 'pressure-sensitive' display with Full HD Recording. It has 441 pixels per inch with a screen resolution of 1080x1920 pixels. The phone's IPS technology enables easy views from various angles. All the colours can be seen alive from any angle with similar consistency. The phone has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 while its backlit display is fused to the touchscreen emitting rich black detail and vibrant colours.

Mi User Interface

The phone runs on highly customised Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system. The Mi 3 come pre-installed with MIUI with phone and SMS features that redefine Android's operating system. This user interface is competing with iOS and Samsung's TouchWiz UI. With the Mi Cloud users can backup their data and also check data usage.

Camera

The Mi 3's has a 13-megapixel rear camera with a dual-LED flash allowing you to take brighter pictures in low-lit areas. The phone's 5-piece lens includes an infrared filter while its f/2.2 Aperture enables users to capture more light in their photos. It also has a 2MP front-facing camera.

Price

The phone has been affordably priced making it the best in class. The price of Mi3 is mere Rs 13,999 which is giving other high-end smartphones a tough competition. When the Moto G price cut announcement had come last month, speculations were also rife in the media that the decision was taken in the wake of Xiaomi's smartphone entry into India.
