New Delhi: Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi on Wednesday launched it much anticipated phone, Mi4 in India via eCommerce site Flipkart pricing it at Rs 19,999 only.
The Xiaomi Mi4 smartphone, which was released in July last year in China, will go on sale via Flipkart on February 10 at 02:00 p.m. for which the registration begins at 06:00 p.m. today.
However, one must know that this is a 3G version of the smartphone while there has been no words on the 4G version from the company.
Xiaomi has so far sold all its smartphones in India - Redmi 1s, Mi3 and Redmi Note – throuhg flash sale on Flipkart. So, it was evident that the Mi4 would be available on Flipkart too.
The Xiaomi Mi4 smartphone is a 5-inch screen display that comes with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels at 441 ppi along with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It runs on a 2.5 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 CPU with 3GB RAM.
It comes with 13-MP Sony high-speed back camera and an 8-MP front-facing camera. It also packs a 3080mAh Li-ion battery.
India is one of the largest markets for Xiaomi outside of China. The company has so far, launched three devices in India -- Mi 3, Redmi 1S and Redmi Note. Its cumulative sales is believed to have crossed a million units since the first launch in July last year.
