New Delhi: Chinese handset maker Xiaomi is again conducting its weekly flash sale of its hot-selling smartphone-- Redmi 1S-- on Tuesday.
The company has made 25,000 units of the Redmi 1S available on e-commerce porat Flipkart. The phone has been made available for 150,000 people who have registered for the handset.
The sale will begin at 5.00PM.
The official Twitter account of Xiaomi India MiIndiaOfficial tweeted, "Don't forget to register to buy your Redmi 1S tomorrow (Jan 27th) at 5PM!”
The latest Xiaomi 1S flash sale last week also got out of stock within seconds. “Today's sale of Redmi 1S: went out of stock within 5 seconds. Thank you Mi fans for your love and support :) @MiIndiaOfficial, ” tweeted Xiaomi's India head Manu Kumar Jain.
The Redmi 1S features a 4.7-inch IPS LCD display (720x1280 pixels) and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset clocked at 1.6GHz. It comes with 8GB internal memory which is expandable up to 64GB vi microSD card along with 1GB of RAM.
Redmi 1S runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and comes with a rear camera of 8MP and a 1.2MP front-facing camera.
