Sony brings Xperia Z2 tablet and Xperia M2 Dual smartphone to Indian market

New Delhi: Sony Corp has launched its second-generation Xperia tablet in the Indian market.

Sony Xperia Z2 tablet has a 10.1-inch display and runs on the latest Android KitKat operating system.

It is a tad expensive, and comes with a price tag of Rs 49,990 on various e-commerce websites.

The tablet has a 3G of RAM, the internal memory is 16 GB which can be expanded to 64GB with a micro SD card. It has a 8.1 MP camera and a 2.2 MP rear camera. The camera gives you burst mode, 8x zoom and smile detection, as some of the few added features.

It has Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, 3G and 4G LTE, as well as a microUSB port and a microSD card slot. The tablet is both dust resistant and waterproof.

Sony has also launched a smartphone christened as Xperia M2 Dual. This smartphone is competing with Motorola and Samsung smartphones. It is priced at Rs 21,990. The phone has a 4.8-inch display. Xperia M2 comes with 4.3 Jelly Bean OS. The company has also confirmed about 4.4.2 KitKat Operating System which is scheduled to arrive soon.

The smartphone is waterproof and also dust resistant. It has a 20.7MP camera and a 2MP rear camera. The camera is excellent for you if you love photography. It also has digital zoom up to 8x and full HD recording video feature.
