New Delhi: Domestic handset company Obi has launched a new smartphone called Obi Alligator 454 with an MRP(Maximum Retail Price) of Rs 7,990 and MOP (Market Operating Price) of Rs 6,450. It supports 18 Indian languages and comes pre-loaded with Truecaller and Hungama apps.
The smartphone sports a 4.5-inch (960 x 540 pixels) qHD IPS display and it is powered by a 1.3 GHz Quad-Core MediaTek MT6582 processor with Mali 400 MP2 GPU. The chipset is coupled with 1GB of RAM and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat).
The smartphone has memory of 8GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card. The device also has 8MP rear camera with LED Flash and a 2MP secondary camera.
The dual SIM smartphone uses 3G, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth, and GPS as a connectivity option and it comes powered by a 1600mAh battery.
The smartphone is available in white color.
The new launch of Obi comes as direct compition of Micromax new Bolt smartphone which has just launch at the same market price.
