New Delhi: Microsoft has reportedly launched its large-screen android phone, the Nokia XL dual SIM in India for Rs 11,489.

According to reports, the android phone is available on the company's online store with a delivery period of five days.

The Nokia XL was announced at the Mobile World Congress in February at Barcelona earlier this year along with other android phones of Nokia, the Nokia X and Nokia X+. Later in March, the Nokia X was launched in India for Rs 8,599 with the company stating that the Nokia X+ and Nokia XL would be available within the next two months.

The 5-inch Nokia XL comes in Dual SIM as the name suggests with a display of WVGA (480x800 pixels) resolution and a 187ppi pixel density.

The phone also features a 5MP back camera with LED flash and a 2MP front-facing camera. It has a 2000mAh battery which the company claims gives up to 16 hours of talk time and up to 720 hours of standby time.

Nokia XL dual SIM is powered by a 1GHz dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor along with 768MB of RAM. It is also packed with a 4GB internal memory expandable to 32GB via microSD card.

Like Nokia X and Nokia X+, Nokia XL dual SIM runs on Nokia X software platform (version 1.0), which is based on the Android Open Source Project (AOSP).
