Motorola cuts price of Moto X, Moto G (2nd Gen) in India

While the price of Moto X 2nd Gen has been reduced by Rs 3000 to Rs 26,999 from Rs 29,999 for the 16GB variant, the price of the 32GB variant has been reduced to Rs 29,999.

New Delhi: With the smartphone market hitting up by the day with the arrival of high-spec handsets for low prices, Motorola has cut the prices of two of its best smartphones in the market.

While the price of Moto X 2nd Gen has been reduced by Rs 3000 to Rs 26,999 from Rs 29,999 for the 16GB variant, the price of the 32GB variant has been reduced to Rs 29,999.

The price of Moto G 2nd Gen has also been reduced to Rs 10,999 from Rs 12,999, a cut of Rs 2000.

This is the second price cut for the 16 GB variant of the Moto X 2nd gen since it launched in September last year. The original price was Rs 31,999 but was reduced to Rs 29,999 in December.

The Moto X 2nd Gen features a 5.2-inch 1080p HD display and is powered by a 2.5GHz quad-core processor with 2GB RAM. It comes with water-resistant coating and runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat.

The phone has a 13MP back camera with dual LED ring flash and a 2MP front-facing camera and is powered by a 2400mAh battery which the company claims offer up to 24 hours of usage.

The 2nd Gen Moto G is 5-inch 720p HD display mobile powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM.
