Motorola 64GB edition now official, first 'try' then 'buy'

The variant of the flagship smartphone, 64 GB Moto X will be launched in US at $449 that is Rs 26,500 approximately.

New Delhi: After oodles of leaks and speculation, it was thought this day would never come but it did. The 64 GB Moto X is for real.

The variant of the flagship smartphone, 64 GB Moto X will be launched in US at $449 that is Rs 26,500 approximately.

Motorola has made an official announcement that it will sell its 64GB Moto X is for ($100) Rs 5,900 more than the 16GB model.

Moto-X lacks the microSD card slot on its 16GB and 32GB variants. Consequently, to keep this aspect in mind Moto X 64GB is lined up for the launch.

With its existing PR techniques, Motorola has never failed to enthrall its audience and with its latest launch it has come up with a new promotional activity “ Try then buy” program.

It is a one-day promotion activity that started at 11PM CT on Sunday June 8th and lets the user try custom Moto X for two weeks before making a purchase. The ‘Try Then Buy’ offer is only open till June 9th only, so there’s bound to be limited stock. There will no undue charge for the usage of phone till two weeks except $.01 shipping charges.

If the user buys the phone, he will get 30 percent off promo code on selected Moto X accessories and if the user doesn't like the phone, he may send back the phone without being answerable to anyone.

Moto X exhibits a 4.7-inch display with a resolution of 720x1280 pixels. It is powered by a 1.7GHz dual-core Qualcomm MSM8960Pro Snapdragon processor with RAM of 2 GB. The storage is non-expandable.

On the camera front, it possesses a 10-megapixel back camera alongside a LED flash and a 2-MP front-facing camera.

The main feature of Moto X is its software features such as Active Display, No touch Control, and combustibility.

There is no official information from the company about its launch in India but is expected to be in the Indian market by later part of the year.
