The price of 3G variant of the Moto E (Gen 2) has been slashed by Rs 1,000. The phone which earlier came at Rs 6,999 will not be available for Rs 5,999.
The reduction in price of the phone signals the release of third gen Moto G on the July 28 along with the 2015 Moto X.
The Moto E (Gen 2) a 4.5-inch qHD (540x960 pixel) display with a pixel density of 245ppi and comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It runs on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop out-of-the-box and is powered by a 64-bit quad-core 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 SoC (with Adreno 306) with 1GB of RAM. It has an inbuilt memory of 8GB which is expandable upto 32GB via microSD card.
The Moto E 2nd Gen comes with a 5MP back camera but a sad VGA (0.3MP) front-facing camera.
