New Delhi: Good news for Lumia smartphone fans. Microsoft Corporation is likely to launch its first Lumia phone in India this week.

According to reports, Microsoft Lumia 535, the first non-Nokia Lumia, will be released in India in the third week of November, much to the delight of fans.

Microsoft Mobile is said to have imported about 600 unit dummies of the Lumia 535 into the country which will be followed by the import of the actual phones.

Last week, Microsoft launched its first Lumia device without the iconic brand name of Nokia, aimed at the emerging market for affordable smartphones.

The company said the phone would first be available in countries like China, Hong Kong and Bangladesh this month followed by other countries.

Now, it is very likely that the Lumia 535 will able available in India this month itself and will be competitively priced between Rs 8,000-8,500 in the market, reports said.

The Lumia 535 features a Microsoft logo and comes with a 5-inch display. It is powered by a 1.2GHz quadcore processor supported by 1GB RAM.

It has an 8 GB internal storage and 15 GB of free OneDrive storage. The memory is expandable up to 128 GB through microSD cards.

For the selfie lovers, the Lumia 535 comes with a 5MP front-camera with wide angle besides a 5 MP rear camera with LED Flash.

It comes with a 1,905 mAh battery with the company claims gives up to 23-day standby.
