New Delhi: Microsoft Lumia 540 is all set to hit the Indian market today.

The Lumia 540, a dual-SIM low-priced phone, would cost around Rs 9,300 without taxes, media reports have said. With taxes, the device would be priced at Rs 10,000 in the Indian market.

The new Lumia 540 Dual-SIM has a 5-inch HD display, runs a Qualcomm Snapdragon quad-core CPU clocked at 1.2 Ghz. It has 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of storage space.

Microsoft also offers Office, Outlook and up to 30 GB of free cloud storage via OneDrive for those who buy the Lumia 540 Dual-SIM.

The phone has an 8 megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel, wide-angle camera on the front with the Lumia Selfie app pre-loaded in it.

The Front camera which is of 5 megapixel could be very enticing for the younger generation as selfie culture is in the air.

Lumia 540 will be available in four colours: cyan, orange, white and black.

To top it all you get a removable 2200 mAh battery and the promise of an update to Windows 10 when available, keeping the phone up to date for longer.
